Longhurst Homes has over 5,000 properties and a range of innovative schemes.
We created a DVD about some of the services the association provides and how it is helping to improve the quality of people's lives through community engagement.
Scenes include children enjoying a Longhurst funded shrub planting day, the Longhurst community bus, and a resident receiving a food hamper as part of the Just Rewards scheme.
Instead of scripted commentary, the messages are delivered through sound bites from residents, Longhurst staff, and partners.
For example, a local police officer on an estate walkabout describes the difference this makes with community relations. A disabled tenant proudly shows off her new walk in shower. And a mother describes how she can study for exams thanks to Longhurst paying for her books.
