Tenant Services Authority:
40 Years of Success in Social Housing
The Tenant Services Authority (TSA), formerly the Housing Corporation, is the government agency responsible for funding affordable homes and regulating housing associations in England.
Prior to becoming the TSA, the Housing Corporation commissioned us to produce a video film to show the different ways it has inspired and supported improvements in social housing in the past 40 years.
We had 4 weeks to video record interviews and supporting visual action at 20 locations between Cornwall and the Scottish border. .We interviewed tenants, housing association representatives, and members of Parliament and edited all together in time for the Corporation's staff conference.
We were chosen to make the film because of our years of experience producing hundreds of DVDs about social housing for councils and housing associations across the country.
We continue to produce videos for the TSA for its website and various communication initiatives.
“I'm delighted we asked Sightline to produce our corporate film. They weren't fazed by our tight deadline or by the need to travel all over the country to do filming. What I thought might be a headache of a job for me turned out to be very smooth. The film is tightly edited, flows well and is something that the organisation is proud of.” Graham Welch, the HC's Publications Manager
