Hyde Group:
Celebrating Regeneration

Over the past few years, Hyde has commissioned us to produce resident consultation videos for three different estates in Islington.

In each case, residents were asked to choose between staying with the Council or transfering their homes to the ownership and management of Hyde, so that they could be improved or re-built. In each case, the majority voted yes.

In 2009 Hyde asked us to go back to each estate and film the improvements and ask residents if they got what they were promised.

The response was extremely positive from everyone involved. The video shows new kitchens and bathrooms, new security and landscaping – as well as examples of how Hyde is working with residents to improve community life and provide career opportunities.

The DVD is shown at events, to potential Hyde Group partners, and used as a tool in bids for new stock transfer projects.
