Health & Safety training: 'Don't Take Chances'
J Reddington is an industry leader in concrete frame construction for high rise offices, apartments, hotels and suchlike.
Much of the company's work involves working at height with heavy plant - and so rigorous Health and Safety working practices are crucial for the well-being of its workers.
We produced a training DVD to show how terrible accidents can easily happen if you flout the rules and take chances.
The DVD features scenarios, played out by professional actors, showing accidents occurring and the consequences. A mentor points out who was to blame and how the accident could have been avoided. The big message is that taking chances with your life or the lives of your work mates is like playing Russian roulette.
As well as showing it to all its own workers, J Reddington is offering the DVD free of charge to anyone who wants to view it. There a now plans to produce tool box talk training DVDs about safe working processes.
